Message Master 4000

Message Master 4000 is a Critical Alarm Monitoring System designed to meet all aspects of facility monitoring. It sends SMS alerts and Email notification to users instantly as the alarm(s) happens. Message Master 4000 is available in 3 models: RMC1, RMC1-R, RMC2.

Message Master Expansion
WEBIO Controller is designed for use with Message Master to expand the number of monitoring / control points. With multiple WEBIO Controllers, hundreds of digital and analog input points can be monitored. More about expansion options is described in this brochure.
It can also be used as a standalone device without interfacing to Message Master. In this setup, alarms are sent as email messages. The relay output of WEBIO Controller can be configured for local audible and visual annunciation using external siren and/or strobe lights.
WEBIO Controller and Message Master communicate with each other using PBNet* over TCP/IP protocol. Automatic connectivity supervision ensures all devices all always in contact with each other. Any Ethernet cable / switch failure causing loss of communication will be reported to users via SMS.


Multiple Message Master
This setup is a simple way of expanding the number of monitoring points. Each controller is responsible for monitoring its own inputs and send SMS. They work independently. Additionally, they monitor each other's operating status. In the remote possibility of one RMC failing, the remaining ones will send SMS alert to users reporting the failed device.

Single Message Master to one or more WEBIO
When the monitoring points required exceeds what RMC is able to provide, WEC is added to increase the number of IO points. WEC monitor digital and analog inputs connected to various equipments, much like what RMC does. Whenever any alarm condition is detected, WEC send the alarm information to RMC over the Ethernet network using PBNet* protocol. Thereafter, RMC relays the alarm to users via SMS. RMC acts as a SMS gateway. WEC also periodically checks for any incoming SMS received by RMC. If the SMS is relevant to the said WEC, it will process it and action taken upon. In theory, RMC can support a very large number of WEC on the same network. However there are practical limits and considerations.
* PBNet is a simple TCP/IP socket layer messaging protocol designed for WEC and RMC to talk to each other.

Multiple Message Master to one or more WEBIO
Every WEC can address up to four RMCs on the network. That means that whenever WEC has an alarm message to send, any one of the RMCs can undertake to send the SMS. The order of contacting each RMC is user configurable. Should the first RMC is busy processing other alarms, the second RMC will deliver the alarm. This ensures the alarm SMS get sent out in the shortest possible time, minimizing delays. It is also a way of providing redundancy and preventing "single point of failure" situation. RMCs and WECs' continuously monitor each other's presence. Should any device 'goes missing' SMS will be send out to users.
